The multiverse has collapsed. All the infinite streams of possibility are now condensed into one. The infinite permutations of each person, their unique histories and divergent paths, are collapsed into a single story. This has resulted in some redundancy.
You are each a multiversal alternate version of one person. Your separate stories are ended, but there's a chance you can preserve some of your history in the new composite you in the single universe.
