I have re-released The Llama and the Farmer as a stand-alone storytelling game! 

Thanks to W.H. Arthur's release of the Guided by the Sun SRD, I have filled out the rules with content that previously required a copy of The Sol Survivor. A copy of The Sol Survivor is no longer required to play The Llama and the Farmer (but you are definitely encouraged to check out The Sol Survivor anyway!).

Massive thank you to W.H. Arthur for putting the SRD together. Hacking and remixing other people's work is so much a part of the indie RPG scene, and it's wonderful and leads to amazing creativity and innovation. But it can be tricky to know what parts of a game you can use without crossing the line into plagiarism. Having an SRD (System Reference Document), and knowing the terms under which that SRD can be used, frees people up to create using existing systems with confidence that what they're doing is acceptable to the original creator, and isn't undercutting or plagiarising them.
